Sunday we went for a ride to raise money for the shelter puppies ................

Who can find the steamer in a sea of Hardly Ablesons and cruisers ?

Sidecars are great cuz you can bring the mutt !

Lily the shelter dog (mine) this was her first big ride in the hack , she did marvelous . When she had enough attention she would crawl down in the nose and take a nap !

We had a Portsmouth Police Dept motor escort , got to run all the traffic lights and never had to stop once in any of the towns we went thru .

Mrs M and I don't generally as a rule do these group rides often and am always amazed at the # of Hog riders that live for doing a group ride every chance they get .
We were near the front , there are probably 3-4 times as many behind us in this photo.

This was the prize at the end of the ride ................Smoked Hog !

It was a success as mucho money was donated to the shelter for the care of the strays that come in throughout the year !
Bikers are a generous lot ! :nod

At least they were not riding side by side like they usually like too!

The photos are blocked for me at the moment unfortunately, look forward to seeing those but you do paint a vivid enough picture.

Never ceases to amaze me, not often you hear of a car group doing similar, guess we are a bit more appreciative of what we have.

I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

+1

The last group ride I got involved in was a Tiger one  :icon_redface: many years ago with the exception of the guy organising it(he knows who is) and is mate on the GS it was amazing how folks buy bikes and not the slightest idea how to ride the dam things,it was my wife who whispered in my ear WTH are we doing with this lot  :icon_biggrin:

Harleys look a better bet in America, like they belong or are designed to be there somehow.  They look bloody silly on UK roads.
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?
