Clunky Shift from Neutral to 1st

So when I shift from neutral to 1st there is a bit of a clunk. When the bike is up on the center stand and I shift it into fits the wheel moves a bit and then stops under its own power. The clutch is adjusted correctly I believe but what should I do to correct this or is it a common thing?

1st gear clunk is very normal for a triumph

 :iagree even the newer ones have it designed in  :ImaPoser seriously the Trophy does it too.
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint
