Yep im baffled  my 885i after a short ride was smoking a tad so ive removed the head to find the head gasket is fine and nearly new and the rings seem fine too. So yep baffled
Now the head is upside down with some petrol on the valves to see if its them that need looking at.
Any advice appreciated

Usually a smoking engine is caused by worn rings and/or worn valve stems, and if neither of these it's usually problems with engine breathers.
