Plastic fuel connector ruture

Attached photo reveals how one of the fuel connectors does not sit properly due to the supply hose being too long. The plastic 'receiving' housing ruptured due to the extreme sideways pressure exerted by the non-aligned connector. Dealer recently replaced housing but hose was not corrected.  (under warrantee & going back to dealer)



Check yours...  at home!         ;-)

Do a search of the forums.  You will find over and over that these fittings need to be replaced with the all metal male and female fittings from team triumph.  Just having the recall fitting replaced does not take care of it.  Just pony up the $70 and get the team triumph kit.
