body work fastner removal???

Ive heard there is a way to remove seized in body panel fastners?. I have several that are stuck in the insert and it just spins, I can still get the tank etc off but its a PITA.

I take it that the bolt is seized in the insert?

Take a drill, 2mm or so, and drill down between the insert and the plastic taking out a bit of each. Then, leaving the drill bit in the hole, you should be able to turn the bolt without the insert rotating. Use plenty of anti-seize fluid on the bolt first.
