Hey Dave ... Stash a long tie-down strap in your 'possibles bag'. If you need to pick your bike up ... without strining your oysters .... cinch the strap low on a frame or crash bar ( on the down side ); put your back to the bike; Squat down; Run the strap along your back and over your right shoulder; Tighten the slack; Stand up and take small steps back. Your bike will simply work its way up as you continue to stand up and step back. ( You can pick a Gold Wing doing this )PS.. Once it's like 90% up.... stop lifting ... you'll pop it over on the other side!!!
