I took a test ride on an 800XC that had the BattleWings replaced by a set of more aggressive knobbies (don't remember brand). What I do remember are the many weights attached to the spokes of the wire wheels. As I did not have a BattleWing equipped bike to compare it to, is this normal to just something to expect with the knobbies?
