just got back from southend shakedown putting bike into garage
and noticed I have no headlights
have sidelight bike starts fine and run as normal
have tried another bulb in the headlight and that doesn't work either
so it looks like its not the bulbs
no main beam
no low beam
fuse ok
no blue light for main beam
everything else works
I did use main beam when filtering to day and the relay and dipswitch got some exercise
don't think its the relays
I've rotated the black relays several times as they are all the same number and no joy
suggestions on a postcard please

Hello stranger. I've had that before, turned out to be the switch mechanism stuck in mid position in that case. Not had the left switch assembly opened up on the XC so not much help I'm afraid.

update
turns out it was the wire that supplies the dip switch :icon_scratch:
only thing I did not check :icon_study:
bike back to normal now :wheel
